Arrived on site for no cooling. Went to check out the thermostat the thermostat had no power to it. Took off the thermostat and checked for voltage from R and C, got nothing tried jumping in G to R,, no reaction. Went upstairs to the Attic. Popped open the panel to check for power. L1 and L2 was giving 240 volts. Notice that the plug connected from L1 and L2 to the system was deteriorated. Check if the Transformer was receiving anything, no voltage was detected and Transformer. Checked if the fan blades of the blower wheel move freely, they did. Unrelated but found another issue in the attic, the boiler water outtake was leaking, about a drop of water every minute. Made sure the valve was shut tightly but it kept dripping.
Arrived at low cooling. Air handler and condenser running fine. Unit seems to be about 20 years old. Unit has a TXV. Cleaned condenser to get accurate reading. Super read reading was 31.4 and subcooling 1.6 before recharge. After recharge, unit subcooling stayed at a constant 1.0 but superheat got to 10.8. Unit is cooling fine but struggles to keep up in extreme heat. Customer acknowledged the status of unit and signed off.
Arrived onsite for no cooling from master bedroom. Inside fan not blowing. confirmed call for cooling from the thermostat. Homeowner stated they don’t use zone two thermostat located in bathroom.
Arrived on site to check out the wine cellar for no cooling, upon arrival found that the blower section inside the room was working. Went into the mechanical room and noticed that the compressor was not operating. The compressor is overheated and extremely hot, I shut the system off as it needs to cool down. We will return a day early next week to try to start it up and see if the compressor starts or if a component has failed. 5/30 - return to check out the wine cellar cooling system I applied power to the condenser and heard that the motor started however I was not getting a pressure differential across the compressor. Internally the compressor is damaged, either the crankshaft has broken or the valve plates have failed. The compressor will need to be replaced, I sent all the information to the distributor to get pricing and availability on a replacement compressor. As soon as I get that information I will be able to put a price together for the repair.
No heat in family room zone.

Received a call that the Coleman unit in the attic on the right hand side of the house was not cooling, upon arrival I found that the air filter was plugged solid. Removed the filter media and replaced it with the one that was on top of the air handler, I confirmed that we now have air flow and that the system is cooling properly. We need to get a new April air model 501 media filter for the model 5000 air cleaner.
Came to call for a leaking duct upon investigation I found that the inline filter for the humidifier had cracked and was leaking on the floor. I isolated the filter. Filter was installed not so long ago need to return to replace filter in warranty.
Removed old Lennox 4-ton coil and condenser. Installed new Coleman 4-ton coil and condenser. Re-hooked up copper to coil and condenser perform pressure test. Pulled vacuum under 200 microns and recharge system. Hooked up. Drain line to condensate pump. Tested condensate pump operational at this time. Re-hooked up heat piping and tested operational at this time. Need to return in the spring to properly test pressures on system. It is approximately 42° outside November 14th 2024 1:38 p.m.

Installed a 4-ton single-speed system, including a Coleman TCD2B48S21S condenser and Coleman XAFC48FBCN1 coil (coil may vary by application). The installation included a standard air filtration system, necessary duct transitions, a new emergency drain pan with an auxiliary switch (for horizontal applications), an EZ Trap condensate trap system (for upflow applications), refrigerant safety caps, and a condenser mounting pad. We flushed and utilized the existing refrigerant piping, reconnected high voltage electric, and completed a full system start-up.
